Two Kart trailer-

This is the same base as the One kart trailer. Total cost about $600 . Weight approx. 1050 lbs Loaded.

This is based on 205lb for Shifter kart ,176lb World Formula kart and 200lb for tools and misc. Plus trailer weight.

4'x8' Harbor freight folding trailer with 12" tires.

The trailer is 5' wide by 8' long. 4' tall with a 1' by 1' cut for air flow .

I raised the floor so I could go to 5' wide. I used the holders for

the side rails to attach the 2x4's to. I notched (cut halfway through

each board) the middle cross beams for support and extended the ends

of the framing to 5'.

The springs were replaced with 3 leaf 800lb each trailer springs @ $18 each.

( the original Harbor Freight springs failed within 6 Months of the original One kart trailer build )

The deck is 3/4" pressure treated plywood. The sides, back door and

front are 3/4" A/C plywood and the top is 1/2" A/C plywood. The shelf

inside is 3/4" 5' x 4' 10.5"' 7 layer cabinet grade plywood for it's rigidity.

The rear door folds over on to the top. and vents are installed on back doors at top.

The plastic set of draws are from Target price of $29.

This tire mount was used to help balance the load on the front of the trailer.

It swings inside when closed.
